Lebbeus Wood Inevitable Architecture

Lebbeus Woods, who died in 2012, was a revolutionary architectural theorist and artist whose fantastical drawings continue to serve as inspiration for countless architects and students. When I was in graduate school, everyone poured over his books and wanted to draw like him.  So it is an honor to learn that Lebbeus included my North Brother Island photographs in his penultimate blog post, INEVITABLE ARCHITECTURE, about the weathering and aging of buildings.

This blog, and a couple of my photos, will be included in the upcoming Princeton Architectural Press book, Slow Manifesto, compiling entries from Lebbeus Woods's blog from 2007 to 2012. The book will contain his essays, drawings, and photographs.
