My longtime friend and right hand man Michael Garner just opened his first solo show featuring selections from his long running photography project documenting the construction of the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine on the UCONN campus in Farmington, CT. During that time he recorded the builders and their methods of work as this highly sophisticated laboratory took shape. Congratulations to Mike on these incredibly fresh and inspiring PICTURES. Check out the color and portraits too.
Over the past several years Mike has also taken pictures of me working at Steinway, the textile mills, and on various commercial assignments, aptly titled SHOOTING PAYNE.
Thank you Mike!
